Deus Vult is Latin for ?ǣGod Wills It.?ǥ It was the rallying cry of crusaders in the First Crusade.

The First Crusade was initiated in 1095 when Pope Urban II called on warriors to help the Byzantine Empire retake Anatolia form the Seljuq Turks.

The crusade was so successful that they went on to re-take the Holy Land which has been overtaken in Islamic expansion hundreds of years earlier.
