Our SPQR shirt features the Roman Aquila (Roman eagle) and represents the icon for one of the strongest and most lethal forces to ever walk the earth, the legions of the Roman Empire.

Roman Eagle Meaning

The Roman eagle was carried into battle by Roman legionnaires as they conquered and defeated countless enemies over hundreds of years. The eagle was so revered, great lengths were taken not to lose it and countless lives were lost trying to recover it from battles in which it was lost.

I love Roman history. I've bought shirts from placed like cafe press. But none have the art work quite like this shirt. Very well done. Oh! the cafe press stuff fades over a few washings. Love the shirt, the gladius on the sleeve is a great touch. More please. How about some other style of shirts. I love ringers and 3/4 sleeve.
