Our Deus Vult long sleeve shirt is an iconic representation of the crusaders that invokes the spirit of the warriors of Christ.
This design is available in Short Sleeves HERE.
Deus Vult is Latin for “God Wills It.” It was the rallying cry of crusaders in the First Crusade.
The First Crusade was initiated in 1095 when Pope Urban II called on warriors to help the Byzantine Empire retake Anatolia form the Seljuq Turks.
The crusade was so successful that they went on to re-take the Holy Land which has been overtaken in Islamic expansion hundreds of years earlier.
(written on the sword hilt)
Veritas Vos Liberabit is Latin for “The Truth Shall Set You Free.” It comes from verse 8:32 of the Gospel of John when Jesus was addressing a group of Jews who believed in him.
This phrase was also used by the Knights Hospitaller, also known as the Order of Saint John, during the crusades.
(written on Templar flag behind the sword)
Latin for "Not unto us O Lord not unto us but to your Name give glory." This is the motto of the Knights Templar, which appears in Psalm 115:1.
(written around the KnightsTemplar Cross on the front of the shirt)
Latin for "Seal of the Soldiers of Christ," which was written around the official Seal of the Knight's Templar.

This is a very comfortable shirt. Love the long sleeve option. Looking forward to wearing this shirt often.
I really appreciate the design on this tee due my membership in a particular organization. I got a short sleeve one for the summer and a long sleeve for the winter. I wish, though, that it was available in colors other than black and that it was a heavier material so that it was a bit warmer. But, I put on a tank top under it and that helps.
